Okay, okay I know that this ‘local love’ isn’t as “Local” to Nashville (as I have intended this section of my blog to be) but since I recruit/work/live in West TN I wanted to check out some “Local Love” that a lot of my students/friends/&family hang out at on for fun in this area of Tennessee! So for those of you who don’t know, I am going into my third year of working with Lipscomb University as an admissions recruiter! I absolutely love my job because I get to work with great schools, great students, great families, great churches, and I have great co-workers as well (yeah, I just used the word ‘great’ five times…six now…so sue me)! Anyway, so while on the road, I try to make everyday ‘fun’ and ‘adventurous’ for myself so I won’t get burned out, & so that I have funny stories to share with people back in Nashville as well! I usually do these ‘fun’ and ‘adventurous’ things by myself, but today was a HUGE treat for me, because I got to take out my good Montana childhood friend, Shea, & her sweet babies Cullin & Jubrey, to the “Tennessee Safari Park” (http://tennesseesafaripark.com) (read more about this fun place with the link provided).
I cannot stop smiling because of how much fun we had today! Plus, it was an absolute blessing that I got to hang out with sweet Cullin (15 months old) and sweet Jubrey (who is barely 5 weeks old today)! I feel incredibly blessed that my friends are having kids now in life, and I get to be an “Aunt” to some awesome, sweet, beautiful, lovely, and breathtakingly adorable Kids!!!!!
So, if you (reader) are ever in Crockett County TN, please check out the Tennessee Safari Park-it is open YEAR round, and it’s totally worth your time and your drive to check out! There are animals from ALL OVER the world there, and my favorite animals had to be the sweet Llamas, while the animals that scared me the most were definitely the Ostriches (haha, because they are super aggressive about being fed)! But anyway, hope you enjoy some pictures (I took them with my Iphone 4s, so they weren’t on my fancy camera…but my phone still did the job so there!)
Love, DollybyDesign 🙂
